Giulio Paolini’s solo exhibition at Castello di Rivoli

Till 31.01.20 it will be possible to visit at the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Moderna, the solo exhibition of Giulio Paolini. A show that puts together sixty years of artistic activity and that is also an homage to the 80 years birthday of the Genovese artist.

The title of the solo show “Le Chef-d’oeuvre inconnu” is a clue itself of what will be discovered visiting the exhibition in the Rivoli’s castle. Starting from “Disegno geometrico”, one of the most important works from 1960, the exhibition space becomes an artwork itself.

A path between works on canvas, works on paper and installations that let us discover the time and space relationship so present in the philosophy of Giulio Paolini. A vast retrospective with works from the 60’s to the most recent one from 2020.

A catalogue edited by the Museum describes the exhibition path dislocated in the vast spaces of the Rivoli’s castle and documents the biography of the artist. With this solo exhibition, Giulio Paolini confirms once again to be one of the most important internatonal modern and contemporary artist.
