I am pleased to announce my participation in the 2023 edition of Arte Padova, a modern and contemporary art fair which this year reaches its thirty-third edition.
In the Sangallo Fine Art stand, a selection of unique works will be presented with a focus on four artists: Piero Gilardi, Giorgio Griffa, Roberto Sebastian Matta and Gilberto Zorio. We will range from the polyurethanes of Piero Gilardi, to the historical canvases of Giorgio Griffa from the 70s up to the cobalt chloride “reagent” papers of Gilberto Zorio. A published terracotta and two pastels on paper from the 1960s by Roberto Sebastian Matta, one of which was exhibited at the monographic exhibition at the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris in 1985. There will also be unique works by Alberto Biasi, Enzo Cacciola, Giulia Napoleone and other important names from the Italian national scene. A section of the stand will be dedicated to editions with prints and multiples by Afro, Alberto Burri, Enrico Castellani, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Jesus Rafael Soto and others.
