His work, characterized by a meticulous investigation into consumption, accumulation, and destruction, left a profound mark on 20th-century art. Born in Nice on November 17, 1928, Arman grew up immersed in art and music, thanks to his father, Antonio Fernandez, an amateur art dealer, musician, and cellist.
