On saturday 4.2.2023 at 18.30 at Sangallo Arte Moderna gallery in Vasto will open the exhibition “Davide Benati. Reportage di un viaggio interiore” curated by Daniela Madonna. Sangallo gallery presents a selection of twelve watercolours on paper by Davide Benati realized from the ’90’s to the first 2000’s that narrate the relationship of the artist with the nature and painting, a representation of an inner journey.
Benati participated twicee to the Venice Biennale, once with a personal space in 1990. Then the parecipation at the Cairo’s Biennale in 1995 and many solo exhibition in important galleries in Stockholm, Hamburg, Zurich, Paris and New York and the collaboration with Marlborough gallery in Monaco. From the early 80’s he is between the protagonists of the european figurative painting.
The event is sponsored by the city’s Culture Department . At the opening the curator will illustrate the exhibition.
