Enzo Cucchi born in Morro d'Alba in 1949 is an Italian painter and sculptor, one of the leading figures of the Transavanguardia, an artistic movement that emerged in Italy in the late 1970s. His work is distinguished by a strong expressive and symbolic charge, often characterized by archaic figures, dreamlike landscapes, and an intense use of color.
