Max Bill was a Swiss architect, designer, painter, and sculptor, a key figure in concrete art and functionalist design. After studying at the Bauhaus in Dessau, he dedicated himself to art that combined mathematical rigor and aesthetic harmony. His works, such as "Tripartite Unity" or the "Endless Ribbon" are exhibited in major museums like the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Tate Modern in London. Bill participated in numerous international exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale (1936, 1951, 1960), Documenta in Kassel (1955, 1959), and solo shows at the Gimpel Fils Gallery in London and the Kunsthaus Zurich. As the founder and first rector of the Ulm School of Design, he influenced generations of designers, promoting a design ethic that combines functionality, beauty, and industrial production.
